Job Title: Senior Accountant - Finance Transformation (12 month FTC) Your role: The Senior Accountant (Finance Transformation) will be responsible for working with both our financial transformation (FIT) team and business-as-usual finance, ensuring that the output of the new ERP system (SAP S4 Hana) is consistent with current state processes and that our group transfer pricing policy is being adhered to in the new environment. Here you'll get to: - Gain an understanding of Warner Music Group's internal transfer pricing policies and associated accounting entries relating to revenue, royalties and management fees - Manage the initial accounting and subsequent analysis of the financial postings generated by the new revenue processing system. - Perform advanced tasks and analyses required for each testing cycle within the new ERP. Apply knowledge gained of existing processes to the system output and validate the accuracy of the new financial postings. - Maintenance and management of data tables including cross reference tables within SAP/Vistex, utilised by the system to automatically post accounting entries. - Perform direct reviews of the consolidated output of the new system at a group level, using our consolidation tool (Hyperion). - Review all balance sheet accounts postings, and work with our Order-to-cash and tax teams to ensure that system generated accounting documents are in line with the requirements of local legislation. - Perform accounting and financial analysis related to various revenues and expenses applied to revenue and cost of goods sold, including artist and copyright royalty expense, marketing and overheads. Ensuring correct presentation in accordance with UK and US GAAP as necessary - Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, working closely with internal audit upon roll-out of the new ERP. This may involve assisting with preparing and reviewing internal and external audit documentation for both management and statutory accounts - Maintain strong relationships with finance personnel of affiliates/business units, the GBS OTC, RTR and Revenue teams and the Transformation team as well as other divisions within WMG, working with each of these teams to ensure a cohesive output. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement - Other ad-hoc tasks as defined by line manager About you: - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified - Experience working in a SOX controlled environment preferred - Strong work-ethic and a self-starter who proactively seeks out new solutions - Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects working well under pressure - Detail oriented with strong Excel skills As the home to 10K Projects, Asylum, Atlantic Music Group, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world's premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike.
