We are looking for a Finance and Administration Assistant to join this small and friendly team. This dual role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine finance tasks with administrative support, with approximately 70-80% of responsibilities focused on finance. Full training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
Key Responsibilities for the Finance and Administration Assistant
Finance (70-80%):
* Process invoices and assist with payment runs (Accounts Payable)
* Support credit control and set up new customer accounts (Accounts Receivable)
* Reconcile bank accounts and company credit card transactions
* Prepare and submit VAT returns for UK and French entities (with guidance)
* Assist with payroll preparation for submission to an outsourced bureau
* Help with budgets, monthly reconciliations, and finance reports
* Support month-end processes and reporting
Administration (20-30%)
* Process sales orders, invoices, and credit notes
* Respond to customer calls and emails
* Maintain sales records and reports
* Liaise with production and dispatch teams as required
* Provide general admin support, including filing and post handling
