Role: Business Operations Manager
Location: Warwick
Salary: £35,000 per annum + Benefits & 2 days WFH
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and communicative professional to join our clients Sales & Marketing team as a Business Operations Manager. This is a dynamic role that involves supporting distributor onboarding, conducting scheme reviews, data analysis, and resolving queries. The position requires the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and manage multiple tasks, ensuring operational excellence and the continued success and growth of our business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Distributor Changes & Onboarding Support:
* Collect and submit distributor information to the Compliance Department to meet regulatory and financial criteria.
* Ensure completion of onboarding checklists ahead of scheme launches, working across departments.
* Assist in sign-off processes for scheme launches by reviewing ‘derivative price breakdown reports’ to verify commercial and policy accuracy.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Department to ensure POS materials meet specifications and are accurate.
Management of Scheme Reviews:
* Plan, track, and manage Scheme Reviews via our CRM platform, Monday.com.
* Prepare and present comprehensive, visually appealing Scheme Review packs, using Power BI reporting, and collaborate with analysts to resolve discrepancies.
* Track actions agreed during Scheme Reviews, ensuring commitments are met before the next meeting.
Sales Forecasting & Data Analysis:
* Provide senior clients with timely and accurate reporting.
* Conduct data analysis using Synergy or Power BI to deliver insights on sales forecasting, performance benchmarking, and trends.
Query Resolution:
* Work cross-functionally to resolve dealer queries escalated by senior client management.
* Maintain proficiency in key systems (Synergy, MVC) and stay informed of products and routes to market.
Project Support & Process Optimisation:
* Assist with projects arising from regulatory, product, or strategic changes.
* Contribute to departmental improvements, including CRM enhancements and operational process optimisations.
Other Responsibilities:
* Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and distributor relationships.
* Foster strong cross-departmental relationships.
* Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance and confidentiality.
* Ensure compliance with FCA conduct rules, maintaining integrity, due care, and fair treatment of customers.
Key Skills & Competencies:
* Strong written and verbal skills to liaise with internal teams and clients.
* High accuracy in managing reports, data, and documentation.
* Ability to anticipate issues and resolve them efficiently.
* Ability to interpret data and deliver insightful reports.
* Strong ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience in a business operations, project management, or insurance-related role is desirable.
* Proficiency in CRM systems (Monday.com), data reporting (Power BI, Synergy), and basic knowledge of the automotive and insurance sectors is a plus.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
