This role involves overseeing the technical aspects of subsea architecture, system interfaces, and ensuring the overall integrity and performance of subsea systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Optimize subsea development concepts for deepwater projects, focusing on production fluid deliverability and system operation.
2. Define and review subsea development schemes, including system and component levels.
3. Approve designs by Third-Party Contractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards.
4. Monitor contractor performance and support R&D initiatives for subsea field development and new technologies.
5. Prepare documentation for tender phases and manage interfaces between subsea system work packages.
6. Ensure consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in project designs, adhering to international standards and best practices.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and other disciplines throughout project phases.
Knowledge and Experience
1. Extensive experience in subsea system integration from concept through to execution and operations.
2. Strong understanding of subsea industry standards, topsides and subsea interfaces, and riser and flowline systems design.
3. Proficiency in process simulation and multiphase transportation software.
4. Experience in construction and installation activities, including FAT testing, offshore supervision, and plant construction.
5. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and proficient use of MS Office.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Demonstrable experience in subsea system and network engineering in the oil and gas industry.
