As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Bruntwood, you will have a varied role supporting our Asset Management, Project Management, Financial Reporting and Financial Accounting teams as you develop in your role.
What we're looking for in a finance professional:
* Accounting qualification in either CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent is desirable
* A minimum one years experience post qualification
* A minimum of Maths Grade B/6 & English Grade C/5
* The ability to use Microsoft Excel to create SumIfs/SumProducts/VLookUps will be advantageous, but not essential
* Open to challenge and being challenged with a genuine desire to actively contribute new ideas
* In line with the above we're open to what industry you work in, whether that's retail/ecommerce, healthcare, professional services. However it's important that you're a finance professional with a flexible and pragmatic approach.
* You'll be keen to collaborate with other professionals internally and externally to deliver efficiencies and improvements
What you'll be doing:
Budgeting and Forecasting
* Build a strong working knowledge of the asset portfolio through engagement with the finance business partners across the asset portfolio.
* Assist in preparation of the quarterly business plan to deliver the board reporting to schedule and the reporting to subsidiary boards the results of their underlying portfolios
* Assist in the preparation of budgets by division and the management of performance against these
* Support the reporting of financial results and forecasts to shareholders on regular basis
Cash Planning
* Prepare and help manage the liquidity in the ordinary course of business across the both PropCo and OpCo including preparation and communication of the weekly cash position and forecast
* Support the quarterly cash plan including preparing the cash actuals reporting and build a coherent understanding of the liquidity strategy across Operating Cashflows, Debt and Equity
Financial Analysis and Reporting
* Preparation of monthly management accounts covering the Monthly, YTD performance and latest forecast across the full portfolio of SciTech assets.
* Support the performance analysis of the portfolio through review of trends in rental collection, lettings progress and vacancy analysis to ensure this are reflected appropriately in forecasts and actuals
* Support the financial reporting teams and as required assist with consolidated reporting the Bruntwood Group
Banking & Funding
* Support the bank reporting requirements for the SciTech medium and long term facilities as well as the group interest rate hedge
* Assist with bank reporting requirements for development schemes, including information required for Joint Venture partners.
* Prepare interest forecasts and undertaking postings on a quarterly basis
* Work with colleagues in the sustainability team to meet requirements of the Group's green loans
