What you will do: Manage a complex caseload that includes child protection, children in need, and court proceedings. Provide supervision, mentoring, and support to Social Workers, enhancing their practice and professional development. Conduct assessments and risk analyses to ensure child-centred, outcome-focused interventions are delivered. Collaborate with multi-agency partners such as schools, healthcare professionals, and police to coordinate effective support. Assist the Team Manager in ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices within children's social care. Attend and contribute to case conferences, strategy meetings, and court proceedings when required. Offer expert guidance on safeguarding issues, ensuring the safety and well-being of children is prioritised. Participate in service development and improvement initiatives to ensure best practices are implemented across the team.
