About The Team: This role of a junior operational excellence engineer is to drive operational efficiency and quality by continuously improving operational processes, practices, and skills to meet or exceed business objectives and customer expectations. The role drives change through people and processes to advance the business.
What You Will Be Doing:
1. Role modelling the company’s DNA and team FRESH Values, inspiring others to do the same.
2. Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Leading yellow belt projects to improve key operational KPIs.
4. Providing training and support to employees on process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.
5. Leading and supporting change initiatives to implement new processes, technologies, or systems, and ensuring successful adoption and integration across the organisation.
6. Managing and supporting projects related to operational excellence initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
7. Identifying and mitigating operational risks by implementing preventive measures and controls to ensure smooth operations and minimise disruptions.
8. Documenting process improvements, best practices, and lessons learned, and providing regular reports to management on progress and results.
9. Embedding best practice into standard work and sharing across the network.
Who You Are:
1. B or equivalent in GCSE Maths
2. Evidence of contributing to cross-functional change projects
3. Good leadership and project management skills
4. Excellent numerical skills
5. Excellent Gsheet/excel skills
6. STEM degree & Lean Six Sigma Training would be a plus
