The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new opportunities, developing winning sales strategies, and managing client relationships to drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach, particularly in selling high-value, bespoke solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong client relationships.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies to secure high-margin contracts.
3. Lead the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals.
4. Represent the company at industry events, promoting products and capabilities.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met with tailored solutions.
6. Provide accurate forecasting, prospect reporting, and client feedback to support business planning.
7. Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all client interactions.
As the Business Development Manager, you will have:
1. A proven track record with 5+ years experience in Business Development or Sales within engineering.
2. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
3. A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
4. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
