About The Role
Student Academic Services is a constituent element of the Education Services Directorate which provides high quality professional services to students, staff and external stakeholders in aspects relating to academic administration for taught and research programmes of study, including student cases, complaints, examinations, assessment and progression and degree and award congregations.
The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality University Degree and Award Congregations. Energetic and resilient, you enjoy a fast-paced environment and have experience of using innovative and creative solutions to problem solving and organising and coordinating projects, events or processes.
You have excellent communication and influencing skills, establish credibility quickly with staff at all levels, and are experienced in delivering timely and effective processes and guidance. You will have a strong eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines delivering projects in a time sensitive environment. You will take ownership and accountability for degree ceremonies and will be confident in running events/projects.
Experience of managing an operational delivery team and delivering a project/event within budget is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
