Join a market leading Claims team specialising in Professional and Financial Lines claims.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
1. Manage claims on a day-to-day basis, which includes carrying out early, appropriate investigations in respect of policy coverage, liability and quantum and setting reserves.
2. Provide legal assistance to insureds, working with them to develop appropriate strategy for an optimal outcome.
3. Build relationships with clients, communicating position on cover and strategy.
4. Negotiate settlement of claims.
5. Ensure vendors provide a market leading, cost-effective service to customers and the company.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Legal Degree / LLB (or equivalent) is required.
2. Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
3. ACII or equivalent insurance certification preferred.
4. Some prior insurance related activity experience (e.g. paralegal, insurance operations, insurance broker).
5. Thorough experience and sound judgment handling Financial lines of business with a strong emphasis on Solicitors professional negligence claims.
6. Thorough technical expertise with proven track record managing key client accounts, addressing trends and issues affecting their business and mitigating risks and exposures preferred.
