Our client is a Shipping company based in Basildon. They are looking for an experienced Accounts professional to join a small accounts team. This role is an excellent opportunity as it will have lots of progression opportunities as the business grows in the near future. What's on offer; Competitive salary - 30-33K depending on experience Company pension Hybrid working - 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch) – 4 days office and 1 day a week from home once settled 24 days Holiday bank holidays (increase by 1 day for 2 years of service) Company socials – quarterly events (escape room/top golf/go karting/bowling etc.) Duties Provide cover for AP staff Posting overhead expenses on Sage Credit control Processing payments Dealing with customer/supplier queries Duty and VAT account reconciliation's Balance sheet reconciliation’s Assist with monthly management accounts Assist with annual statutory accounts and audit Liaise with Operations team to check for customer payments / release jobs on hold Liaise with Sales team to set up new sales accounts on internal systems Keep internal systems up to date Review customer credit applications Complete credit applications (purchase) Office H&S and keeping relevant documentation up to date (fire safety/desktop assessments etc.) Assist with annual insurance renewal Assist with on boarding of new starters Apply for this opportunity today
