We have a 6–9-month FTC opportunity to join our business as one of our HR Business Partners. As a strategic HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership to shape and execute our people strategy in line with the business goals. Operating as a trusted advisor, you will influence business decisions, drive cultural change, and support the achievement of strategic priorities. This role will focus on enhancing our high-performance culture, continuing to develop future talent, and ensuring the workforce is equipped to meet both current and future business demands whilst ensuring that people are fully represented in business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Act as, and be, a respected and trusted strategic HR Business Partner – forming and maintaining strong relationships with key senior stakeholders. Work collaboratively with stakeholders and members of the wider operational and Centre of Excellence HR team to develop constructive relationships that ensure the core HR People function adds value to the business and fully aligned to business needs. Provide day to day leadership and guidance on businesspeople related matters, ensuring awareness and adoption of best practice, legal and compliance, risk, and mitigation, working in partnership with the UK centre of excellence team. Shape the organisational culture to that of a Great Place to Work® by partnering with leaders to create a high-performing and engaged workforce. Drive change management initiatives, ensuring the business can adapt effectively to market and organisational shifts, including seasonal fluctuations and business restructures. Implement strategic talent management initiatives, ensuring the businesses in your remit have the right leadership, development plans and skills pipeline for future success. Prioritise performance management across businesses in your remit, ensuring that Appraisals, Objectives and LMS systems/processes drive accountability, development, and business results. Lead initiatives to optimise workforce productivity and agility, leveraging data insights to inform strategic decisions on workforce structures and deployment, particularly in managing seasonal demands. Candidate Requirements: CIPD Qualification: (Level 7 preferred) or equivalent strategic HR experience. Strategic Thinking Leadership Influence Fresh Produce Sector or FMCG Experience is desireable Ability to travel to multiple sites as required, supporting both strategic and operational HR needs.
