Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children, to run alongside our sports after school clubs and wrap around provision. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting and possess a passion for early childhood education. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to manage various activities, and a commitment to fostering the development of young minds.
Duties
1. Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
2. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues regarding children's needs.
3. Maintain a clean and organised environment that is conducive to learning.
4. Support children's emotional and social development through positive reinforcement.
5. Collaborate with other childcare professionals to ensure high standards of care.
Skills
1. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
2. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with children and parents.
3. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
4. Leadership abilities to guide children in group settings.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
6. A genuine passion for childcare and fostering children's growth.
