Job Title
A SHEQ Advisor is required to work across our Northern operations, spanning the Midlands to Cumbria. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 and car allowance.
We are an international business, winning awards on major projects. Our company has been established for over 40 years with a significant turnover.
SHEQ Advisor Responsibilities
* Support project management teams in maintaining the highest Health, Safety & Environmental standards across all projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Owning SHEQ Policy, accident and incident reporting, COSSH procedures, site preparation, CDM procedures and implementation, toolbox talks, and safety reports.
Quality Management Responsibilities
* Training and development, client satisfaction, management reports, risk assessments, environmental management policy and procedures, human resource management policy and procedures, and safety office maintenance.
SHEQ Advisor Requirements
* HND in Civil Engineering or Construction (desirable)
* Minimum of a NEBOSH Construction Certificate
* Tunnelling and mining industry experience beneficial
* Experience in Quality Control on a major project
* Proficiency in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
* Experience with lifting equipment
SHEQ Advisor Remuneration
* Salary: up to £60,000
* Car allowance
* 23 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays
