To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team member within the Electronic Patient Record Programme. This role will provide comprehensive high-quality support to IT/Digital projects throughout their implementation to ensure that projects are highly organised, supported, run efficiently and effectively. The post holder will ensure timescales are delivered in line with priorities as detailed within the IT Strategy. The role will contribute to the effective delivery of projects through ensuring that relevant staff are involved at all stages of planning and implementation of a project and ensuring that information is managed and communicated effectively through the collation and analysis of information and the production of reports, minutes, briefing documents etc.
Main duties of the job
1. Responsible for facilitating, liaising and clarifying with relevant staff at all stages of planning, implementation and development to ensure that the specification definitions meet the user's needs.
2. To work with project managers to ensure that all requirements of the projects are implemented within the defined timescales as set out in the project plans.
3. To liaise closely with a wide range of staff to develop a clear vision for their required information support needs throughout the organisation, at all stages of the project, keeping Senior Managers informed.
4. Ability to gain understanding and document the current processes and related operational procedures for relevant projects in order to formulate the necessary information into maps/flowcharts and validate users requirements at all relevant stages of processes.
5. Ensure that user's views are obtained and taken account of in all aspects of the projects and that their specific issues are logged.
6. Support and develop the relevant product modules, following implementation, to ensure that the users needs are constantly assessed and that appropriate issues are documented, and that relevant changes are implemented and monitored. This forms the optimisation of projects post go live.

* Degree level or equivalent experience.
* Ability to understand Project plans and access sources of information and advise others to enable effective implementation of allocated project.
* Good understanding of the UHDB Digital Strategy.
* Experience of working in a complex multidisciplinary environment.
* Good working knowledge of MS IT packages e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
