Premises & Facilities Team Operative Salary & Grade: Band C (point 8-14) £25,992 - £28,624 per annum Hours & contract: 37 hours per week, full time, permanent Working pattern: Monday – Thursday 7.00 am – 3.00pm; Friday 7.00 am – 2.30pm (half an hour lunch break) Holidays: Holidays to be taken partly during term time and partly during school holidays. The Governors and Chief Executive Officer are seeking to appoint a Premises & Facilities Team Operative to join our team at Central Schools Trust comprising of Balsall Common Primary School Academy and Damson Wood Nursery & Infant School Academy. With regard to this appointment, the successful candidate will be part of the team at Damson Wood Nursery & Infant School. Purpose of the role: • To assist with the maintenance and development of an efficient school. • To ensure good and effective management of the premises. • To ensure cleanliness of the school premises. • To support the aims and ethos of the school and to work collaboratively with all members of the school staff Key Requirements: This role would ideally suit an individual with experience of, and aptitude for, general DIY, general maintenance and repair, such as a knowledge of basic plumbing, basic painting, basic electrical work, grounds maintenance and basic carpentry.
