⦁ Provide technical support to the Design Engineers in person, through calls or emails
⦁ Complete motor selection calculations
⦁ Provide Applications support to UK customer base
⦁ Provide software support with drives integration to third party PLC, HMIs etc
⦁ Fault-finding in breakdown situations
⦁ Understand multi-market applications for sale
⦁ Produce quotations & estimated lead times
⦁ Keep a record of & update key customer contacts
⦁ Work on an individual project to improve company processes
⦁ Production of sales strategies of key products and companies
⦁ Any other tasks that are required by the company
Graduate Technical Support Engineer - The Person:
⦁ Degree educated in mechanical/electrical engineering, physics or IT is preferable
⦁ Demonstrate a solid understanding of electric motors and drives / experience within the drives & controls industry
⦁ Must have excellent communication skills at all levels
⦁ Self-motivated individual with a desire to learn and ability to problem solve effectively
Extensive training will be provided on an ongoing basis for all aspects of the job. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Engineer to develop with a business and achieve realistic progression.
