Fabricator/ Site Installer
Location: Cottingham
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30PM / Friday 8:00AM - 2:30PM - 38 Hour Working Week
Salary: DOE £15 P.H
Benefits: 25 Days Holiday plus Bank, 1.5x Overtime, Pension, Staying Away Allowance and Expenses Paid
Founded in 2011, we were established by four processing engineers who have over 100 years of combined experience. We supply material handling equipment to blue chip clients for all their distillery needs, offering bespoke designs and installation of this equipment. Health and safety are a massive driving factor, ensuring all aspects of the production environment are not bogged down by pressures and demands. We are now wanting to invite a Fabricator into our encompassing family with the opportunity for overtime and travelling out to our sites - predominantly in Scotland.
Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and read engineering drawings and specifications.
2. Fabricate components using various metalworking techniques, including cutting, bending, welding, and finishing.
3. Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and tools, ensuring safety and efficiency.
4. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
5. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
7. Support on-site fitting and installation.
8. Travel to client sites to install production equipment.
Skills:
1. Proficient in MIG and TIG welding materials ranging from 2mm to 6mm.
2. Ability to work within a team.
3. Flexibility in tasks.
4. Willingness to travel and stay away occasionally.
This opportunity is perfect for a candidate looking to enter the food and beverage industry and work within a friendly team. Depending on experience, you will receive £15 per hour with a 38-hour working week, which changes to 1.5x overtime pay. While travelling to sites, you will have access to work vans and a daily allowance for food when away, with full expenses paid on stays.
