About the Role:

The service is based in a historic Grade 2 listed building, renowned as a specialist palliative care and end-of-life home and has earned the Community Partnership Award for its exceptional service. This facility offers high-quality care within a 44-bed home, providing general nursing, palliative care, and care for those with mild dementia.
You'll join a dedicated team that includes a deputy home manager, long-standing home manager, and experienced auxiliary staff to ensure the best possible care for residents.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
1. Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation
2. Provide high-quality, compassionate care for residents
3. Develop and implement care plans using advanced nursing techniques
4. Collaborate closely with the care team to maintain a secure and supportive environment
5. Provide specialised dementia and palliative care with a focus on mental capacity
6. Respond swiftly to emergencies and follow safe moving/handling practices
7. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including fire safety, infection control, and food hygiene
