Lead Rowing Coach PART TIME – 16 hours per week Term Time Only (worked flexibility across the school year) Required from September 2025 An inspirational and enthusiastic Lead Rowing Coach is required to take the lead on training our crews from J14 to Senior. The successful candidate will possess an excellent knowledge of rowing as well as coaching experience. The role will involve coaching our crews during term time on two afternoons a week (Tuesday and Thursday 1pm-4pm) as well as a Saturday morning for beginners and more experienced rowers (4 hours). Two early morning strength and conditioning sessions (Tuesday and Thursday, 7.15-8.15am) and one early morning rowing session (Wednesday, 6.00-8.15am) will also be required, as well as time for administration. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a clear passion for rowing coaching to lead on the competitive performance of our 40 rowers at all levels across the school. Ideally you will have performed or coached to a high standard and will possess at least a British Rowing Coaching Level 2 (or working towards) and RYA Powerboat level 2. Additionally, you will demonstrate an ability to motivate both staff and students, as well as line manage a minimum of two support rowing coaches. The ability to drive a school minibus is also advantageous as pupils need to be transported from school to the boathouse. The total 16 hours per week are to be worked flexibly across the school year, based on rowing conditions and regattas.
