Your new company You will be joining the Children's Services Performance team within a client, specifically within the Education and Skills department. This team is dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people across the conurbation. Your new role As a Power BI Analyst, you will design, model, and deliver analytics and insights via Power BI to shape the future direction of the organisation. You will ensure that the analytics products meet customer needs, are user-friendly, and feature intuitive navigation. Additionally, you will support the development of the team's reporting capabilities using software packages such as SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft Office products. Your accurate and reliable reports will enable better-informed decisions within Children's Services, enhancing understanding of needs, increasing confidence in data, improving monitoring of outcomes, and increasing efficiencies within the Performance Team. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience with Power BI. Proficiency in SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Azure, and Microsoft Office products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and reliable reports. Knowledge of additional data visualisation tools is desirable. Experience in a similar role within a council or public sector organisation is advantageous.
