As a Business Development / Client Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing new business and developing long term relationships while working alongside a dynamic and supportive team. This is an initial 6 month contract, with the potential to extend based on business and individual performance. Overview Our client is a new recruitment business operating in the education / healthcare sectors. In this new and critical role, you will focus on acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and aligning staffing solutions with client needs. Working closely with the recruitment team, you will drive sales strategies, identify opportunities, and ensure the delivery of exceptional service that fosters long-term partnerships. The Role This part-time role consists of sales development, relationship management and team collaboration. Core responsibilities include:- Designing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. Identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and converting prospects into long-term clients. Scheduling and leading business meetings to understand and address prospective clients' staffing needs. Creating and presenting customised staffing proposals to address client requirements effectively. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals. Working closely with the recruitment team to synchronize client acquisition strategies with operational capabilities. Staying informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. The Candidate Proven track record in client acquisition, sales, or business development, ideally within the education or healthcare sectors. Experience in the recruitment sector is helpful, but not essential. Demonstrated success in lead generation, sales conversion, and achieving revenue targets. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with decision-makers. Proficiency in CRM tools, sales platforms, and social media for business development. Strategic thinker with strong organizational and time-management skills. Fluency in English is required The Terms Initial 6 month interim contract, with the potential to extend, based on business and individual performance. Salary £40k FTE basic (pro-rated to £20k actual for 20 hours per week) 20 hours per week, to be worked ideally across the week, although the client is open to flexibility. Location - this is a hybrid role, with occasional meetings in Aylesbury or meetings held half way between your location and the office within reason. Please allow for some time to be spent in the office in the initial few days for induction. 25 days holiday (3 days of this to be taken between Christmas and New Year), plus bank holidays. This allowance will be pro-rated down for part-time time hours. Statutory Pension Full time equivalent actual salary will depend on hours worked ADZN1_UKTJ
