Role: Network Support Lead

Hours per week: 37 hours per week
Contract Length: Anticipated 6 months
Location: Hereford – full-time on site
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Lead with a CCNP Enterprise certification and at least three years' experience supporting complex campus area networks (CAN) and wide area networks (WAN). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in configuring and administrating IP cryptography, along with strong knowledge of Linux OS and network logging tools such as PRTG, Solar Winds, or Splunk.
Experience with Splunk or Elastic as a network support tool is highly desirable, particularly with the ability to create reports, alerts, and dashboards. You will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and demonstrate expertise in maintaining secure and efficient network environments.
Key requirements:
CCNP Enterprise Certification.
Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in supporting complex CANs and WANs.
Experience with IP Cryptography (desirable)
Linux OS & Network Analysis Tools (desirable)
Experience with Linux command line interface and familiarity with network logging/analysis tools like PRTG, Solar Winds, or Splunk.
Ability to use Splunk or Elastic for network support, including searching, navigating, creating reports, alerts, and dashboards.
Demonstrated technical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and support complex network environments.
Ability to work well within a team, especially under secure environments.
Strong communication and management skills to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
