Position: Senior Maintenance Electrician
Location: Oxford Hospital
Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as Lead Technician, overseeing electrical building services installation and maintenance techniques on-site.
* Apply your trade skills and experience while providing one-on-one training to team members.
* Ensure completion of statutory obligations and all allocated maintenance, repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works within SLAs and KPIs.
* Take on AP/RP roles where applicable or receive training to enhance your skillset.
* Conduct testing and inspection in line with City & Guilds 2391 standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualifications: Must have a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or Level 3 qualifications (theory & practice) in a relevant electrical discipline.
* HV & LV AP Qualified: Required
* Experience:
o Extensive experience in building services.
o Knowledge of air handling plants and water hygiene.
o Experience within a Healthcare environment is a plus, particularly with medical gases.
* Willingness to Learn: Must be open to cross-skilling to expand your capabilities.
* Skills:
o Strong customer service and communication skills.
o Excellent planning, organising, and prioritising skills.
o Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgement to resolve issues.
o Strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures (formal training is a bonus).
