Housing and Technical Resources wish to appoint a Civil/Structural Engineer to assist in the effective delivery of a comprehensive service relative to the council’s Capital and Revenue Expenditure programme. To undertake this role, you will require to have an HND or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and possess equivalent relevant experience in the use of AutoCAD and also experience in the use of Revit software programmes would be advantageous. You should demonstrate a commitment to the principles of customer care, while displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate previous experience of working to targets and pre-determined timescales along with an awareness of health and safety in the workplace. It is essential that you have a proven track record of working within a property/ construction environment and you will display professionalism and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
