Admin/Procurement Assistant
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-2pm
Salary: £24,000 pro rata, 20 days annual leave pro rata, generous company pension
Snelling Business Systems are a global Audio Visual systems integrator, providing award winning installations and support to a diverse portfolio of clients. The company is looking to appoint an Admin/Procurement Assistant based at their purpose built warehouse, assembly and office facility in Wymondham, Norfolk. The company, part of the Snellings group is well established with its roots dating back to 1954 and a reputation for excellence and delivering outstanding customer service.
The Admin/Procurement Assistant will be part of a small Finance team, with prime responsibility for Procurement and Order Processing of Audio Visual equipment within a project based business.
Responsibilities:
* Processing Purchase Orders to fulfil project requirements.
* Processing ad-hoc Purchase Order and Payment requisitions for the business, ensuring controls and authorizations are met in line with standard operating procedures.
* Building relationships with new and existing suppliers.
* Monitoring supplier spend to ensure optimum pricing, discounts and rebates are achieved.
* Maintaining the database of preferred suppliers.
* Working closely with the Operations department to advise on ETA’s and product lead times.
* Uploading price lists.
* Assisting the administration team with receiving calls to the switchboard, redirecting calls, taking messages and dealing with queries as necessary.
Person Specification:
* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
* Experience of Accounting Systems (SAP Business One), Microsoft applications and general IT use.
* Knowledge of Audio Visual products (or similar), with experience of project delivery within a commercial and construction environment would be desirable.
* Must be able to multitask, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay: Up to £24,000.00 per year
