Group Billing and Expenses Supervisor
On behalf of our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, MPA Recruitment is pleased to invite applications for the role of Group Billing and Expenses Supervisor in the Belfast Area.
Location: Adelaide Street, Belfast
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £15.70 per hour
Job Purpose:
* Administer weekly agency timesheet processing and interface preparation
* Support and control Travel and Subsistence (T&S) on Selenity
* Ensure accurate and timely payment of group bills for utilities
* Manage the corporate credit card scheme, ensuring proper sign-off and reconciliation
* Support the Staff Benefits portal
Key Responsibilities:
Agency Timesheets:
* Administer weekly agency timesheet processing and interface preparation
* Perform weekly reconciliations and maintain controls around the timesheet process
* Create control reports to identify and resolve anomalies
* Provide helpdesk support for agency staff
* Train agency staff on the system
* Liaise with agencies as needed to resolve issues
Group Billing for NIHE Utilities:
* Extract, review, reconcile, and process group utility bills for monthly interface
* Ensure robust control processes for verifying bills and obtaining appropriate sign-off
Corporate Credit Card:
* Manage corporate credit cards
* Assist with the development and implementation of a new credit card reconciliation system
T&S System Support:
* Administer weekly agency and monthly staff T&S payment processing and interface preparation
* Ensure controls around the interface process
* Create control reports to identify and resolve anomalies
* Provide helpdesk support for staff
* Train staff on the system and mobile app
* Liaise with HR and payroll to resolve any issues
Edenred Employee Benefits Support:
* Manage employee access to the benefits portal
* Provide helpdesk support and create training materials for staff
* Develop regular communications about staff offers
Your Profile:
* A qualification from one of the following (or equivalent):
a. Final examinations of AAT (Level 4*) or IATI (Level 5*)
b. Foundation papers of a CCAB body (Level 5*)
c. A relevant degree (Level 6*) in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar
d. HND (Level 5*) or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Alternatively, candidates with 3+ years' relevant experience in payment-related matters may also be considered
* At least 2 years' experience in a finance/transaction processing environment, including:
o Use of a management system in transaction processing
o Advanced spreadsheet skills
o Application of double-entry bookkeeping
o Reconciling activities and managing group bills or payroll processes
Additional Information:
A Basic Access NI check is required at a cost of £16.
