Credit Controller/Sales & Purchase Ledger Assistant
based in Old Woking, £26-28,000
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger:
1. Raise purchase orders for suppliers/subcontractors
2. Match and process invoices, ensuring authorisation
3. Allocate payments to correct invoices
4. Reconcile purchase ledger & resolve invoice queries
Credit Control & Sales Ledger:
1. Raise sales invoices & send to customers with reports
2. Provide customer statements before due dates
3. Follow up on aged debt, negotiate payment plans if needed
4. Handle credit notes, refunds, and liaise with finance team
General Admin:
1. Maintain accurate records & identify invoicing errors
2. Answer phone calls & direct customers as needed
3. Assist with ad hoc office tasks
Requirements:
1. Previous Accounts experience
2. Sage Line 50 preferred
