We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Ribble Autism School in Lostock Hall.
As Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our school premises during term times. Your work will directly contribute to providing a safe and conducive learning environment for our pupils with autism. The successful candidate will be reliable with a can-do attitude to working as part of our friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, hallways, offices, and other school areas.
* Ensure that all designated areas are sanitised and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
* Manage and dispose of waste in accordance with school policies and procedures.
* Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished.
* Assist in organising and tidying classrooms, play areas, and common spaces to promote a neat and orderly environment.
* Responsible for daily laundry tasks ensuring clean, dry towels and clothing are available.
* Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including following relevant paperwork and protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
