As a Maintenance Technician your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to: Confidently Interact with External Contractors : Coordinating repairs seamlessly. Responsibilities will include; Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues. Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness. Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge. General day to day store and property maintenance. Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates. Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform. Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback. Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture. LI-AG2 As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails. Operational Skills: Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or improver programme or trade proficiency test / relevant trade experience. Full driving licence Health & Safety awareness Communication & stakeholder management Office 365 knowledge Completed all relevant technical training upskilling modules Mechanical Fitting/Bench fitting Electrical Circuit, - Working Knowledge, fault finding and replacement Basic diagnostics: PCB/Microprocessor / HMI controlled systems /equipment Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or improver programme or trade proficiency test / relevant trade experience. Holds Relevant Engineering Trade Qualifications minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent and relevant experience. Digitally confident; can comfortably operate mobile phone and tablets to view workload, emails, teams, and use of business systems
