As a Senior Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, addressing their Physical, Psychological, and Social needs. You will assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals. Additionally, you will be responsible for the medication round and leading the shift. We welcome applications from candidates who have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. Full training is provided, and we also encourage applications from those without previous senior experience but with a passion for care and a valid qualification.

About You:

* Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate; however, all training is provided, so these are desirable, not essential.
* Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in leading a team.
* A committed and organised approach.
* A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts.

Other Duties:
- Attend staff meetings.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home, participate in appropriate training, and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
- Understand safeguarding responsibilities, develop skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults needing care and support, and ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Adhere to safeguarding and whistle-blowing policies at all times.
- Provide evidence of any untaken training.
- Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation, working in a safe environment.
- Complete all training as determined by the home.
