Job Title: Control Systems Engineer
Location: Office based in Winnersh Triangle (Travel is expected for client site testing and commissioning functions)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated candidate for the position of a Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, programming, and testing control systems for various industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop technical and testing documentation for control systems upgrades
* Design, development and testing of PLC, HMI and SCADA software
* Reverse engineering of legacy systems for the implementation of new control and associated equipment
* Commissioning of control systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with industry regulations
* Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in a timely manner
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
* Client liaison and engineering team collaboration.
Minimum Requirements:
* A strong background in Software, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience
* Technical author experience creating technical documentation for control systems
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g. Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
* Experience with HMI design and programming
* Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)
* Experience with electrical design and schematics
* Full clean driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable skills and experience:
* Proven experience in converting PLC code from legacy systems to new platforms
* Familiarity with industry regulations and standards for the water industry
* Knowledge of network infrastructure design
