A background in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery with reconstruction, proficiency in raising the common types of free flaps, as well as in micro-vascular surgery, with supervision, is essential.
We are fully committed to teaching and training both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate doctors and have an excellent reputation for junior staff training.

As part of our continued response to COVID-19, the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 (“the 2014 Regulations”) was updated and approved by Parliament. As this role is within the scope of the current legislation, COVID-19 vaccination status will remain part of our routine Occupational Health check.
Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues, and your patients from the virus.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The appointments will be subject to full Occupational Health Clearance and Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check for the successful candidates prior to commencement.

These will be scheduled prior to the interview date; all shortlisted candidates must attend these appointments.
