An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Support Worker to join the Paediatric Critical Care Team.
Main Duties of the Job
The Senior Clinical Support Worker will work together with members of the Nursing team to:
* Contribute to the smooth running of daily activity within the unit.
* Contribute to the implementation of a high standard and individualised patient care under the direction of a registered nurse by undertaking delegated activities.
* Communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients, and relatives.

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working within the NHS / Health care / Child Care setting with knowledge of issues related to health care.
* Completion of Care Certificate or commitment to completing.
* Knowledge and insight into specialist area.
* Able to prioritise workload and organise self to complete delegated tasks.
* Shows initiative within role boundaries, self-motivated, and motivates others.
* Awareness of importance of teamwork.
* Communicates effectively with patients/relatives/carers and members of the MDT.
* Ability to cope effectively under pressure, show resilience, and work within a team to manage complex/challenging situations.
Education and Training
* Demonstrates Literacy/Numeracy.
* Essential IT capability.
* Motivated to develop knowledge and skills/undertake self-development.
