We are recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with autism at a mainstream primary school in Brent. The role involves providing tailored, classroom-based support to help the child thrive in their learning environment.
About the role
Provide 1:1 support for a student with autism in the classroom
Assist with personalised learning strategies to meet the child’s needs
Support the child in developing social, emotional, and communication skills
Adapt classroom activities to ensure the child’s engagement and progress
Role will be starting ASAP and will be until the end of the academic year

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
Previous experience working with children with autism, preferably in an educational setting
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting individual needs.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
