Mad Swans is looking for a full-time Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. You will be the first person to step into these shoes and shape this brand-new role based at our first site: Mad Swans in the Mendips.
Mad Swans in the Mendips is located in Farrington Gurney near to Bristol.

What there is to it
The Maintenance Team Leader will oversee the upkeep and functionality of the whole site, including rooms, cabins, restaurants, bar, and leisure facilities at Mad Swans in the Mendips.
This is a very active and hands-on role which may also be physically demanding at times.
The key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
* Oversee the maintenance and repair of all areas, including rooms, cabins, restaurants, bar, and leisure facilities.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
* Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimise equipment downtime and repair costs.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to maintain a safe environment for team and customers.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment.
* Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and promote eco-friendly measures.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks, costs, and compliance documentation.
* Ensure all areas of the property are up to standard and meet customer expectations.
* Provide regular and accurate reports to management about the property including health and safety and ongoing works.
* Work within the budget limits and track expenses for projects.
* Responsible for complying with the company policy regarding Health & Safety.
* Ensure job role is performed safely in line with the standard operating procedures and any specific safety controls.
* Ensure hygiene standards are adhered to in specific work area.
* Report any Health & Safety issues, potential hazards, accidents or near misses to the Senior Management Team.
* Listen to guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
This is a full-time permanent position and will work any five days out of seven. The salary for this role is £30,000/annum.
Location: this is an onsite role and will be located at Mad Swans in the Mendips, Marsh Lane, Farrington Gurney, Bristol, BS39 6TS.
Working Hours: the working hours will generally be 9.00 am to 6.00 pm but may vary from time to time.
Working Days: this role will work any five days out of seven and will involve working on weekends on a regular basis.

The following qualifications are desirable, however, are not essential:
* NEBOSH Health & Safety Qualification
* Level 3 Electrical Maintenance Qualification
