Site Manager/Landscape - Project Manager
Do you want to get your teeth stuck into a high-end domestic landscape project? We are working with a prestigious landscape business involved in both domestic and commercial soft and hard landscape projects.
As Manager you will:
1. Report to the Senior Contracts Manager.
2. Coordinate, direct, and supervise directly employed and subcontracted labour to ensure that landscape construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
3. Be supported by the Buyer, H&S Officer, Construction Administrator, and the Accounts department.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day coordination and supervision of directly employed and subcontracted staff.
2. Management and allocation of resources including plant, equipment, vehicles, and materials.
3. Support the Contract Manager(s) on a wide range of landscape projects in line with our Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
4. Undertake safety and quality inspections and audits.
5. Client communication and relationship building.
6. Pricing work (on occasion).
7. Completing site inspections and maintaining site records.
8. Driving outputs and motivating teams.
9. Ensuring a high standard of work.
10. Mentoring and coaching of staff.
11. Produce programmes and schedules of work.
12. Identify and act on business development opportunities and drive additional works.
Job Requirements:
1. Practical experience within the landscape construction industry.
2. Supervisory experience.
3. SSSTS (min), SMSTS (ideally).
4. Appropriate CSCS/CPCS competency qualifications.
This is an initial 38-week project which could go permanent.
