Job Description
We are looking for a lettings officer to join our estate management team, leading on the management of our residential property portfolio across Dorset.
This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.
What it's like to work here
You will be part of a team looking after our large and varied residential portfolio, which includes properties in Kingston Lacy, Purbeck and West Dorset. The properties range from chocolate box thatched cottages to large farm houses. The role includes managing new lettings, carrying out rent reviews and working with the general trades team on refurbishment of vacant properties as well as general repairs and maintenance. Our main office is located at Tisbury, however your working location can be flexible and there are offices on most of our estates.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for letting and ongoing management of our residential let estate. You'll work closely with the property and consultancy teams to provide the highest quality service to your colleagues and our tenants. You'll ensure high standards are maintained across the let estate; appropriate income generating opportunities are realised; and excellent tenant relationships are sustained. You'll ensure that NT cottages are places where people want to live - and to stay.
