We are currently seeking experienced mechanical foreman for a long-term opportunity in Queenstown. This company is well established and local, and they have built a strong reputation for high quality work and a great inclusive company culture. This role requires proven leadership experience as you will be responsible for leading a team, organising materials and labour, project planning and health and safety. You will also be required to run toolbox talks, task analysis and safe work procedures, running a team of 5+ and reporting to a project manager. Experience Required:
* 10 years trade experience – Minimum 5 years leadership experience.
* Trade certification – HVAC Engineer/Duct fabrication and installation, Pipefitter, mechanical experience
* Experience in heavy commercial construction – Schools, hospitals etc
* Experience deciphering and analysing detailed plans.
* Proven ability to problem solve.
* Strong Communication – you will be leading a team of 5+
* Health and safety conscious.
* Maintain high level of QA.
* Willingness to relocate to the beautiful South Island
* Friendly, approachable and well spoken.
* Ability to nurture and upskill staff.
