We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Operations Manager to take charge of the day-to-day running of our charming 16-bedroom hotel in picturesque Pitlochry. This role is all about getting involved, working closely with the hands-on owners, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. What Youll Be Doing:
Hands-On Management: Take full control of the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring every aspect of the guest experience is seamless and exceptional.
Lead the Team: Manage and motivate a small, close-knit team across all departments, including housekeeping, front-of-house, and food & beverage services.
Guest Relations: Be the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations, queries, and ensuring that every guest feels at home and valued.
Operational Support: Assist with every aspect of hotel operations, from maintaining high cleanliness standards to troubleshooting day-to-day challenges.
Compliance & Health & Safety: Ensure the hotel adheres to all health and safety standards, licensing regulations, and operational procedures.
Work with Owners: Collaborate closely with the owners, preserving the traditional charm of the hotel while supporting business operations and growth.
Problem-Solving: Step in to handle any operational issues that arise, using your initiative to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
What Were Looking For:
Hotel Management Experience: Experience managing a hotel, ideally in a small, family-run environment, with a hands-on approach to all aspects of operations.
Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a small team, ensuring everyone works together to maintain high standards.
Hands-On Approach: You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and being involved in all areas of the operationfrom guest interactions to behind-the-scenes tasks.
