We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative Performing Arts Instructor to work with our children and young people aged 7 to 19 years old who have a diverse range of severe and complex learning needs.
We are looking for someone with a passion for using Performing Arts to develop and deliver engaging and creative experiences for our children and young people whilst making their experiences fun using a positive and encouraging approach.
The school provides a person-centred curriculum, adapted to each child and young person’s developmental and learning needs of students with severe to complex learning needs, Autism, communication and sensory processing difficulties, and associated behaviours.
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
● Have experience in developing and delivering performing arts programmes.
● Excellent communication and organisational skills with a practical approach to engaging pupils.
● Have experience of working with children and young people with a diverse range additional educational needs.
● Have experience of planning, leading and quality assuring your area of work.
● Will have the ability to differentiate appropriately for all our children and young people to ensure inclusive experiences for all.
