Location: UK Salary: Competitive EXCELLENT BENEFITS 25 days holiday bank holidays Pension Healthcare scheme Life assurance Employee Assistance Programme Retail discounts Training opportunities 37.5 hours per week – 1 pm finish on a Friday Hybrid working To be successful in this position, you will have/be; Lead and oversee engineering projects related to aircraft seating, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards Design, develop, and certify new cabin interior and seating programs, with a focus on VTOL and eVTOL aircraft types Ensure alignment with essential regulations, including CS-27 and TSO-C127 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement best practices in design and certification processes Provide technical expertise and guidance during the certification processes under regulatory oversight, including CAAC and EASA (SC)VTOL Special Conditions Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Prepare and present technical documentation for regulatory submissions and internal reviews Stay current with industry trends and advancements in aviation seating design and certification Skills and experience required Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in aircraft seating design, development, and certification Proven experience with regulatory compliance under CS-27 and TSO-C127 standards is essential Demonstrated experience in the design and certification of programs overseen by CAAC and relevant EASA regulations is desirable Strong understanding of the technical aspects of cabin interiors and seating systems for small rotorcraft and VTOL/eVTOL applications Experience in designing and certifying pilot seats is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences The Parent Company of ACRO Aircraft Seating is Zhejiang Tiancheng Controls Co., Ltd headquartered in China.
