The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a proven track record in understanding the complexities involved in large-scale projects, including risk assessment, cost control, and compliance with industry regulation, as well as extensive experience in managing subcontract agreements and optimizing subcontractor performance to meet project objectives for a high-profile client.

The key objectives for this role are:
* Responsible for the leadership and management of a deployed supply chain project team providing all aspects of supply chain management including materials management, warehousing, expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation, and reporting.
* Clear understanding of the client's head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and incorporates those into appropriate project supply chain strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with project goals and organizational objectives.
* Procurement Management: Lead procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
* Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
* Project Collaboration: Work closely with project director and engineering teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
* Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
* Budget Management: Oversee the supply chain budget, ensuring cost control measures are in place.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and relevant reporting requirements.
* Contractual Expertise: Drafting, negotiating, and managing complex subcontracts.
* Claim prevention and management ensures that all measures to reduce claims from subcontractors are put in place.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills And Qualifications
What makes you remarkable?
Expected:
* Degree qualified or equivalent in business studies, law, engineering, supply chain or similar discipline.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role on large-scale EPC and EPCM projects in the oil and gas sector.
* Extensive track record managing supply chain activities within the Oil and Gas sector.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in supply chain practices.
