Description
1. Delivering the People Strategy and Service Delivery Plan.
2. The effective filing, storing and management of all employee files and documentation in line with appropriate records management, data protection and regulatory requirements.
3. Ensuring organisational compliance with all people related legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the business.
4. Proactively gaining key client feedback on the quality and effectiveness of People Services, proposing improvements to service provision as appropriate.
5. Creating a culture of equality and opportunity in which all colleagues are able to reach their potential.
6. Embedding a high performing culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement.
7. The timely provision of defined management information against a distinct reporting cycle as well as the production of other (ad hoc) people services reporting as required.
Profile
1. Previous experience in a HR role in a busy, fast-paced, matrix environment.
2. Proven experience providing advice based on sound understanding of Organisation's policy and practice.
3. Ability to summarise trends in data, feedback conclusions to leaders and propose actions.
4. Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
5. Experience of effectively communicating with and influencing a wide circle of internal stakeholders.
6. Experience/understanding of the social care sector or other regulated environment.
7. Acquisition / TUPE experience.
8. Actively seeks ways to develop understanding of organisational and sector issues and developments.
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
10. Applies own judgement and criteria to adapt previous recommendations or experience in the light of the current circumstances.
11. Works closely with others who are involved in and impacted by the issue, consulting for their views and involving them in developing the solution.
