Job Description Summary: BCB Markets sits within the Specialist Client Solutions Team in Business and Commercial Banking (BCB). The directive of the team is to deliver Financial Market Risk Management solutions to Clients via Face to Face, Telephony and Digital Channels within the BCB Corporate franchise. With Financial Markets as volatile as they are, we're seeing a significantly increased demand from Clients to manage their FX and Commodity exposures via more innovative and complex solutions. We're therefore delighted to offer this Sales role that focuses specifically on our Client’s complex needs.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Structure appropriate and innovative solutions to help our Clients handle their exposures to FX and Commodity market moves.
2. Work with the Sales and Coverage teams to mine portfolios across the back and front book for opportunities to deliver these solutions as well as drive the education agenda for wider adoption.
3. Drive Sales and convert leads from all BCB Markets internal & external origination mechanisms to completion. Adopt responsibility for a consistent and flawless conduct agenda.
4. Connect up our excellent content, exposure and quantification techniques to deliver a comprehensive solution to Clients.
5. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments and trends in financial markets and in related risk management products and strategies in order to enable the team to deliver outstanding solutions and content to Clients’ needs.
6. Assist in managing the work of more junior team members and enabling them to develop their technical knowledge and commercial experience, providing coaching, leadership and direction as appropriate.
7. Champion a strong control and compliance culture by demonstrating a sound understanding of the role of data and privacy risk for the benefit of clients, colleagues and the Bank.

We'll be specifically looking for these skills on your CV:
* CF30/SMCR certified.
* Ideally 5 years’ experience in regulated derivatives Sales in Structured FX and Commodities.
* A record of accomplishment of originating Sales across FX and Commodities for the LBG/External client franchise.
* Excellent interpersonal and team working skills with a demonstrable ability of empowering colleagues and driving forward internal and external partners as well as reflect the strong ethics and values of Lloyds Banking Group.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, has shown they can communicate convincingly, succinctly and with great clarity to a wide broad range of audiences.
* A problem-solver who is able to handle a complex range of priorities and make business decisions quickly to meet the business and client needs.
* Able to develop capability within the team to ensure achievement of the business strategy, vision and values, maximising efficiencies and resource while recognising and rewarding excellent performance.
* Experience of mentoring, coaching and developing teams – to produce the best results possible and grow talent within the bank, driving employee satisfaction.
This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks.
