Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their development in a fun and engaging environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable After-School Club Teaching Assistant/Support to join our dynamic team!
About the Role:
As an After-School Club Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children outside of school hours. You will assist in planning and supervising activities, providing support to children, and maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and engage children in a range of creative, physical, and educational activities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the club.
* Support the lead staff in delivering a structured and enjoyable program.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among children.
* Assist with setting up and tidying away activities and equipment.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff as required.
* Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children in a school, childcare, or play work setting.
* Is enthusiastic, patient, and caring.
* Can work well as part of a team and independently.
* Has strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
* Holds a relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Possesses a valid DBS check or is willing to undergo one.
