Job Description:
Audit Semi Senior position, within a forward-thinking accountancy practice in Shropshire. The firm has multiple locations and is an excellent company to be a part of. They are looking for an ambitious individual with some practice and auditing experience, looking to further and strengthen their career.
Audit Semi Senior Position Overview
1. Preparation of accounts from incomplete records.
2. Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage, and Quickbooks where required.
3. Preparation of business tax computations.
4. Correspondence with clients and agencies such as the HMRC.
5. Attending Clients' premises to perform accounting, auditing, or computer functions.
6. You will report directly to the Managers, Directors, and Partners of the firm.
You will be required to attend in-house and external training courses to meet with continued professional development requirements or study with our external training providers if you are currently studying a professional qualification. You will work as an effective team member to ensure all client deadlines and requirements are met.
Audit Semi Senior Position Requirements
1. Experience within a similar role is preferred.
2. Ideally, you should be ACA/ACCA Qualified for at least 2 years - though AAT, newly qualified, or part-qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
3. All industry sector experiences will be considered.
Audit Semi Senior Position Remuneration
1. Competitive salary depending on experience.
2. Full employer pension contributions of 8%.
