Want to join a forward thinking and progressive physio practice? Belfast Sports and Spinal has been established since 2009 and is currently located on a prominent position on the busy Ormeau Road in Belfast. It has 4 designated individual treatments rooms with access to a rehab and strength & conditioning suite on site and is beside Cherryvale Park for pitch side rehab sessions. The practice utilises the VALD system of objective testing including the use of force plates and dynamo joint range and manual muscle testing and also has access to shockwave therapy as part of it’s range of treatment techniques available.
Our current team consists of 3 full time Physiotherapists, a Podiatrist and an office manager to provide administrative support.
We would like to recruit a permanent, full-time physiotherapist to join Belfast Sports and Spinal. The role includes your own laptop with flexible working hours and excellent remuneration rates.
Our patients can be self-referred, referred via their GP or hospital Consultant, private healthcare schemes, occupational health companies or local sports clubs. Our client base is varied, and we therefore encounter a wide spectrum of MSK conditions which provides us with an enjoyable and satisfying case mix.
Belfast Sports and Spinal prides itself on providing a highly professional, supportive and relaxed working environment. CPD activities are actively encouraged. The team meet twice monthly for a business meeting and also a clinical educational session which provides a valuable CPD opportunity.
Prospective candidates must have effective communication skills (both verbal and IT), and they require excellent interpersonal skills to enable them to work effectively within our successful team. They should have a strong desire to meet but also manage client expectations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing their own case load and working independently. Candidates will be required to demonstrate that they provide evidence-based treatment at a consistently high standard in line with HCPC and CSP guidelines.

Applicants must have:
· HCPC and CSP registration. We unfortunately have no ability to sponsor overseas applications at this time.
· A minimum of 3 years post graduate qualification with relevant post graduate experience in a musculoskeletal background.
· Evidence of structured ongoing CPD with an emphasis on MSK learning.
· Ability to manage their own case load.
· A strong emphasis on rehabilitation and exercise prescription backed up with a range of manual therapy skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Excellent computer and IT skills.
· A full driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
