Joining our family as a Showroom Sales Assistant, you’ll be part of our busy Middlesborough branch, where you’ll help us provide every customer with excellent service. We’re a developing, forward‐thinking business. And we want people who love what they do. That means taking pride in outstanding service and going above and beyond. You don't need to come from our sector, or have product knowledge; we will provide you with all the training and development you need.
This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week, with 4-hour shifts spread over 5 days between Monday and Saturday.
Due to the location of this branch, having a Full UK Drivers License and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Your role will vary on a day-to-day basis but you will:
1. Build relationships with our customers (Traders and Homeowners) both face to face and over the phone. It's likely that you will get to know them on a first name basis, so it’s essential that you can build and develop long-term relationships and deliver the highest standards of service.
2. Assist the Branch Manager in exceeding sales targets.
3. Follow up sales leads.
4. Build a strong network of customers around you to ensure you meet targets; you will also work closely with the external Sales Rep.
5. Assist the Kitchen Designer by visiting our customers’ homes or building sites, where you will draw up inspirational designs on CAD and present them to the customers.
