We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team starting in the New Year! The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in Years 3 to 6, delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring a balance of subjects including English, Maths, Science, and other foundation subjects.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive learning environment, ensuring that all students are supported to reach their full potential.
- Assessment & Progress: Regularly assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure they are meeting learning targets.
- Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Differentiation: Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those requiring additional support or challenge.
- Professional Development: Participate in professional learning and development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and a passion for primary education.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with assessment and tracking pupil progress.
- Knowledge and experience of working with students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
- Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities.
